If a whisper message sound file is added to your account already, follow the steps in this article to find out how to turn it on and off for a static Kaisa number. Please note that this is only applicable for static sources, and not for dynamic ones.
What is a whisper message and how to add it?
If you are unsure whether you have a sound file added to your account or not, simply create us a ticket, and we will sort it out for you.
Turn whisper on for a static source
1. Log in to Kaisa and open the Numbers tab.
2. Find the number that you want to turn the whisper message on for and click Show details.
3. Now it's time to add the word that activates your whisper message to the Media field. In this example, the word is "Online print". The activation word for your whisper message was given to you when the whisper sound file was added to your account. Forgot it? No problem, add a ticket, and we will send it to you.
4. Finally, click Save. The whisper message will now be played for this number.
Turn whisper off for a static number
1. Log in to Kaisa and open the Numbers tab.
2. Find the number that you want to turn the whisper message off for and click Show details.
3. To turn the whisper off you can choose to delete the word in the Media field and leave it blank, or you can add _nowhisper to the word, depending on if you use the Media field for segmentation or not.
4. Finally, click Save. The whisper message will not be played for this number anymore.
Due to dynamic tracking rules whisper messages on dynamic numbers needs to be handled by Kaisa. But don't worry, just open a ticket, and we will be happy to help!
