You may have started using our Audience Builder and getting around creating some Audiences to engage with your Users. However, as the powerful tool that is is, it can be overwhelming to build meaningful cases using all available options.
To get you started, we have an example of an Audience here that you may find useful: A comparison buyer Audience.
What is a Comparison Buyer?
In this Audience, we are trying to find users that have contacted dealers regarding different vehicles (maybe even for the same brand). Someone that has engaged multiple times in the last 30 days for different vehicles is what we call here a comparison buyer.
Building an Audience for a Comparison Buyer
When creating our Audience, we will make sure all criteria selected needs to be met, using the the "All or At least one" button selecting "All".
We will add two conditions to our Audience:
First:
We will select that the Number of Articles is greater than one.
Second:
We will select that the Total Number of Events is higher than one.
Like this:
The resulting Audience will cover Users that have made more than one call (or contacted you otherwise more than once) while simultaneously having in those engagements more than one article (or identifier for a listing or a vehicle, for example).
You can now add additional segments to these Users contacting dealers or brokers about different listings, for example looking at only Comparison Buyers browsing for vehicles of the same car brand.
Adding a Segment
Use this Icon next to your Audience name in the main Audience Builder menu where all your Audiences are listed, or open a dedicated Audience and add a New Segment.
Adding a Segment works under the same logic as the main Audience. In this case we can select that the Number of Unique Vehicle Brands Equals to one. Like this:
With the Segment created, now we have an Audience with Comparison Buyers, and a dedicated segment for people engaging looking at only one car maker.
And this is what it looks like.
With all this done, you can create a Workflow using our Engagement Builder to make the most of your Audience.
